What is ‘Custom Assistant’?

‘Custom Assistant’ is Chat Translation's advanced personalized translation service. By utilizing a ‘personal translation glossary’ built from your own curated dataset, you experience sophisticated personalized translations akin to having a dedicated interpreter.

 

Automatic Dataset Generation

Starting in 2026, the newly updated Custom Assistant automatically generates your dataset upon sign-up.

  • Automatic ‘Name’ Translation Support: Translates the ‘Name’ you enter during sign-up into multiple languages and applies it to your personalized settings. This ensures names are accurately conveyed and never missed when communicating with someone you've just met.
  • Automatic Dataset ‘Title’ Generation: We save you time spent thinking about dataset titles. Titles are automatically generated based on creation date and sequence for easy management, and you can manually edit them anytime as needed.
  • Intuitive and Accurate ‘Domain’ Settings: We've expanded the domain scope to cover diverse business environments by offering options based on industry instead of job title. Additionally, we've improved the system by providing options based on ‘translation field’ rather than usage type, enabling more refined translation results.

 

Dataset Editing and Management

You can freely modify and update created datasets at any time.

  • Multilingual auto-complete: When editing data, enter and save just one language, and the remaining languages will be automatically translated and filled in.
  • Category assignment: You can optimize categories for your conversation environment by modifying them at any time.
  • Unlimited scalability of the term table: As long as the dataset maintains at least one row, you can add rows without any maximum quantity limit.

 

Advanced Extraction Features

No need to manually input text. Leverage external sources to enrich your data. 

  • Link Utilization: Extract key data from LinkedIn profiles or YouTube video links. For secure data management, URLs starting only with www or http:// cannot be registered. Please make sure to enter the full URL including https://.
  • File Upload: Upload your documents to expand the assistant's knowledge base. 
  • Real-time Updates: After saving changes, click the dataset again to instantly see the updated content.
